Welcome

What is this place?

Hello and welcome to this website. My name is Stefan Hösemann and I created this place to share some of my projects with the world. I'm passionate about software development and the content on this website is mostly about educational projects I've been working on. These are open source and freely available for everyone.

Updates and changes

Angular experiments

June 1, 2018

I've been having a closer look at various web technologies for the past few weeks and eventually built a small demo app for educational purposes. The project is based on Angular and Electron. Feel free to check it out on GitHub if you like.

Going three-dimensional

July 16, 2017

Recently, I've been spending some time on Blender and its sculpting tool, which is quite amazing. You can find a couple of images in the gallery right here.

Another Reminder becomes open source

December 23, 2016

Another Reminder goes open source as well! The task management tool is now available as an open source project under the MIT license. Have a look at the GitHub repository if you like to get involved in the development process.

JPlatformer becomes open source

October 4, 2016

After some amazing feedback and various source code requests, I've eventually decided to go open source on JPlatformer. The game is now on GitHub, where you'll find everything you need in order to download, run and modify the project. This is actually my first open source project and I'm very excited about it.

Website redesign

September 12, 2016

It's been more than two years since I launched this website and the time was ripe to rework the look and feel of this place. I've also rewritten the slideshow component, as the previous implementation felt kind of chunky and unintuitive. The new design performs better on desktop environments and mobile devices.

JPlatformer released

July 5, 2016

JPlatformer is alive! The project is a remake of Another Platformer and offers a variety of new features, such as platform independence, an overhauled user interface and an enhanced world editor. JPlatformer is written in Java and utilizes the libGDX framework.

Another Reminder released

July 19, 2015

Another Reminder is now online. This simple task manager for desktop environments was actually written as a small tool for personal use. Eventually, as the project grew bigger, I decided to draw some icons and publish it. Another Reminder is small, portable and runs cross-platform thanks to Java.

One more website on the internet

August 29, 2014

This website is now online! A few days of messing around with HTML and CSS have brought up this web presence. I'm very excited about the project, as I haven't done something like this before.
